Plugged in youth

Plugged in Youth is the youth ministry of New Hope Taft. It’s designed for students in grades six to twelve. We create an environment where young people can come as they are, not having to shape up or improve to fit in, but where all are welcomed and feel safe. We are a youth ministry that exists to show the next generation the love and freedom found in Christ. 

Sunday Mornings

10:15 am - 11:30am
Our program starts in the 10:15 am service at New Hope. The first thirty minutes the students stay in the main sanctuary for praise & worship, before being dismissed into a classroom where they hear biblical teaching.  The last part of  the service is designed so that students and leaders can connect and build relationships with each other.  

OUR TEAM

Our leadership team consists of passionate and spirit-filled young adults who love Jesus and are committed to investing in middle school and high school students, while empowering them to live for Jesus week in and week out! Every Sunday leaders connect with students and encourage them in the Lord.

FAQ's

What grade does my child need to be in to attend Youth?
Youth is for students in grades 6-12

What time does Youth start and end?
Youth is from10:15- 11:30am every Sunday morning.  It runs the duration of the main service.

My child is new, where should they go when they get there?
When your child arrives they will be welcomed by our Greeting team.  They are welcome to sit with you until Praise & Worship is over.  The students will be dismissed and head to their class with the leaders.

What can my child expect?
They can expect to connect with leaders and students, enjoy a hang time space with good conversation. From there we go into preaching of God's word.  We believe your child will have a wonderful morning from opportunities to build great relationships, corporate worship, a thought provoking message, and small group conversation centered around our faith in Jesus.

As a parent what can I expect?
You can expect your child to be welcomed, loved and encouraged in a Christ centered environment. Leaders will connect with your child through in person conversation and text or phone calls if permitted to do so.

Who does your leadership team consist of?
Our leadership team consists of young adults who love Jesus and are passionate about investing into the next generation. All of our leaders are background checked and have committed to living and leading to a biblical standard.
