As a church we exist to connect people to Jesus and disciple them to become fully devoted followers of Him; there is no greater mission.
New Hope carries a Forward mindset, rooted in obedience, investing today for eternal impact that will span generations as we make Jesus known in Taft and beyond.  This new property, and new building is about seeing beyond ourselves and believing that God can do abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine through the transforming power of a relationship with Jesus.

Why are we building a new building?

2018 was very different for New Hope.  The building that we had been in for years unfortunately had to be demolished.  The rafters were cracking and after sending photos to engineers, we were told to get out of there immediately.  After a lot of thinking, praying, and seeking God, we decided that the best plan for our church, moving forward, is to create a new building on a new piece of land- one that wouldn't give us the same issues in the next 7-10 years.

For future generations

In early 2024, after 6 years of looking for land, we were finally able to purchase property that is set inside city limits on Hwy 33 heading towards Fellows.  We are so blessed to say that we are working towards our goal of a new building!  We currently have paid for the property itself, soil sampling, & phase 1 engineering documents.

In the upcoming months, our building fundraising efforts will kick into high gear. We're excited to embark on the next phase of our journey  beginning the necessary work to transform our vision into reality.  With the community's support and enthusiasm, we're confident in achieving our goals and creating a space that will positively impact all who enter its doors.
We still have quite a ways to go, but we believe there is nothing too big for our God!
